New builds and renovations

Post-Construction Cleaning

The trades finish, the dust stays. We clear it from the ceiling down so the room is ready for paint touch-ups, furniture and people.

What the trades leave behind

A finished renovation still looks unfinished up close. Fine dust has settled on every ledge, inside every vent and across the tops of the new cabinets. Plastic film is still on the windows and fixtures, stickers are still on the glass, and debris is tucked into corners, closets and sills.

A normal house clean is not built for that. Dust this fine travels, so a quick wipe of the floor lets it drift back down onto surfaces you already did. Linda Soto Cleaning, LLC treats it as its own job, with its own order of work, for homes and commercial spaces across Mercer County, Burlington County and Bucks County.

The crew works from the same scope every time: dust and debris, plastic and sticker removal, walls, ceilings, ducts and vents, windows and sills, closets, appliances and a final detail check.

Ceilings first, floors last

The order matters more than any single product. We start high, with ceilings, light fixtures and the tops of walls, because everything we dislodge falls. Then come the walls, the ducts and vents, and the trim, so the dust has nowhere new to land.

Windows and sills come next. Plastic and stickers come off the glass and frames, the tracks get cleared of debris, and the new sills are wiped until the cloth stays clean. After that the closets get the same top-down pass, shelves and rods included.

The floors are the last surface we touch. Sweeping and mopping any earlier would only mean doing it twice, so the floors are done once, at the end, over a room that has nothing left to shed.

Appliances, plastic and the small stuff

New appliances arrive wrapped, taped and stickered. We take off the protective film, wipe the fronts, sides and handles, and clean inside the oven, the microwave and the fridge so the first thing you open is clean.

The same goes for the details people only notice later: switch plates, door edges, cabinet interiors, the track under a sliding door. Construction dust gets into all of them, and a room is not finished until they are.

If you run a residential or commercial property, the same crew can carry on with your regular schedule once the space is open. Linda Soto Cleaning also does residential and commercial cleaning, so a new build or renovation can move straight into a standing routine.

The final detail check

Before we call a room done, we walk it again from the doorway, with the light coming across the surfaces. Streaks on a window, a film on a sill or a thumbprint on stainless show up that way and they get fixed on the spot.

The team that cleans your space is fully licensed and insured and every member is background checked, which matters when the home is empty and the keys are in someone else's hands. Whether it is a house in Princeton, Hamilton or Yardley, or an office build-out, call (609) 433-5356 and we will talk through the space.
