Between one guest and the next
A turnover is a reset, not a regular clean. The last guest has checked out, the next one is on the way, and the place has to read as untouched. Linda Soto Cleaning works through a rental the way a guest will see it: the bed first, then the bathrooms, then the kitchen, then the floors on the way out.
Linens come first because they decide the first impression. Sheets come off, fresh ones go on, and towels are stacked where guests will look for them. If you want the laundry handled too, ask when you book, because laundry is on the list of things the crew does.
We work rentals and short-term stays for hosts across Mercer and Burlington counties in New Jersey and in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Bathrooms and kitchens get the full pass
Bathrooms are where a guest decides whether a listing is clean. Tub surround, toilet, vanity, mirror and floor are all cleaned, and the small places people overlook get a look: the fixtures, the switch plates, the door handle that every guest touches.
The kitchen is cleaned the same way we clean a home kitchen, top to bottom. Dishes are done, counters and cabinet exteriors are wiped, and the microwave, toaster and coffee maker are cleaned inside and out, since those are the first appliances a guest reaches for.
Oven and fridge interiors are extras on a regular visit, so tell the office ahead of time if a long stay has left them needing it.
A full top-to-bottom reset
Cobwebs and ceiling fans, then lights and fixtures, then interior windows and blinds, then baseboards, and the floors last so nothing falls on a clean surface. Working high to low is what keeps a turnover from needing a second pass.
Floors are swept, vacuumed and mopped. Pictures, decorations and doors are wiped down, and the beds are made up before the crew locks the door behind them.
For hosts who use the same property again and again, the checklist stays the same each time, so the tenth guest finds the same standard as the first.
Timing and hosts who are not on site
Most hosts are not standing in the unit when the cleaners arrive. Give the office your checkout and check-in times and how the crew gets in, and plan the visit around that window. Linda's office confirms the day ahead of time, and a team of three people usually works a space together, as one reviewer describes.
If something is broken, stained beyond a normal clean, or missing from the unit, the crew tells you so you can fix it before the next guest arrives, rather than finding out from a review.
Every cleaner is background checked and the company is fully licensed and insured. Call (609) 433-5356 to talk through your property, or read about our regular house cleaning, move in and move out cleans and commercial work below.
